General product life expectancy is generally 8 to 10 years under normal use. Barefoot is among the tightest celled marine decking foams on the market which results in superior stain and fade resistance. Like all marine decking foam, Barefoot Marine Decking can be damaged by solar amplification and should not be allowed to sit still in the sun uncovered for extended periods of time. Doing so voids the warranty. Reducing longer term exposure to the elements when not in use, such as storing your boat in a garage or under a cover, will help extend the life of your decking.

Customization of our decking material is almost endless. There is a wide variety of colors to choose from including faux teak. And we can create a broad range of patterns various widths as well as diamonds, honeycombs, fish scales, custom layouts and logos. Yes! The decking material is 100% replaceable. We retain files for every panel created.

The flooring should be cleaned regularly. While the decking is stain resistant, some materials such as mustard, fish hooks, fish blood or bird dropping, if left for a extended period, may soil the material. We recommend having a bottle of Simple Green Cleaner on hand to use when needed.
